Shipping policy

Rock-drilling tools are heavy, and some of them are long, so freight is quoted for each order rather than charged at a flat rate. Here is how it works.

How orders are placed

Prices on this site are quoted. Add the parts you need to your quote list and send it to us with your ship-to location. We reply by email with pricing, availability and the freight to your site, with a link to pay online. Nothing is charged until you accept the quote and pay.

Where we ship

We ship across the United States and Canada. Shipments elsewhere are quoted case by case; ask when you send your quote list.

How parts ship

  • Bits, couplings, shank adapters and other compact parts ship by courier.
  • Drill rods, extension rods and pallet quantities ship with a freight carrier. Lift-gate service is free on freight deliveries: tell us if the site has no loading dock or forklift, or if the delivery goes to a job site.
  • Freight is quoted by weight, length and destination and shown on your quote before you pay.
  • Warehouse pickup is available; ask for the pickup location when you request your quote.

Lead times

  • Parts on our shelf usually ship within 1 to 2 business days of payment.
  • Parts ordered from the factory are quoted with their lead time. We confirm the lead time before you pay and let you know if it changes.
  • Transit time depends on the carrier and your location and is shown on the quote.

When your order ships

You get an email with the carrier and tracking or pro number when the order leaves. Check the shipment on delivery and note any damage on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing, then contact us within 2 business days so we can take it up with the carrier.

Taxes and duties

Sales tax is added where it applies. Where a shipment crosses a border, any duties and brokerage are shown on the quote, so there is nothing to pay on delivery unless the quote says otherwise.
