Terms of service

These terms apply to quotes, orders and purchases made through this website, operated by FrankDrill ("we", "us"). By requesting a quote or placing an order you agree to them.

Quotes and prices

Prices on the site are shown on request. A quote is valid for 30 days from the date it is sent unless it says otherwise. Quotes are based on the part numbers, quantities and ship-to location you give us; if any of those change, the quote changes. Prices are in the currency shown on the quote and exclude taxes unless stated.

Orders

An order is placed when you accept a quote and pay the invoice, or when we confirm your purchase order in writing. We may decline an order, for example if a part is no longer available or a price was listed in error, in which case anything you paid for it is refunded.

Availability and lead times

Stock levels change daily. Availability and lead times on a quote are given in good faith at the time of the quote and are confirmed when you order. If a factory lead time changes after you order, we tell you and you can keep the order, change it or cancel it for a refund of the affected part.

Payment

Payment is due before shipment unless we have agreed to account terms in writing. Accepted payment methods are shown on the invoice. Title to the goods passes when they are paid in full.

Shipping and risk

Shipping is described in our shipping policy. Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the carrier picks up the goods, except where we arranged the carrier and the damage is reported to us within 2 business days of delivery, in which case we take the claim up with the carrier.

Returns and warranty

Returns and warranty claims are described in our refund policy. Tools are covered by their manufacturer's warranty against defects in material and workmanship; we pass on no other warranty. Wear is not a defect.

Fit and selection

Thread, size and drifter information on this site comes from the manufacturers' catalogues and is provided to help you choose. You are responsible for confirming that a part fits your drill string and your drifter or hammer and is suitable for your rock and your drilling method. If you are not sure, ask us before you order.

Product information

Pictures are renders or photographs for identification and may differ in detail from the part shipped. Manufacturer names, model names and part numbers belong to their owners and are used to identify the parts and what they fit.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from a sale is limited to the price paid for the part concerned. We are not liable for downtime, lost production, consequential or indirect loss.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada, and any dispute is brought in the courts of Canada.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the site when you request a quote applies to that quote.
